Announcing the third annual Great Ideas Campaign

Students of the Ice Pellet Wilderness Frosty Slush Land (Williams College),

College Council is proud to announce:
The Third Annual CC’s Great Idea Campaign!

College Council can make any great idea happen.

CC’s Great Idea Campaign is a looking for your ideas to improve student life at Williams. There is no idea too small (Ifiok) or too big (Manny).

Submit a 200 word project proposal no later than Sunday, November 21 to [email protected], and CC may fund and support your project and make it real.

What kinds of project ideas are acceptable? The project should be designed to improve some aspect of students’ lives at Williams, but the rest is up to you.

Have an idea to improve dorm life? What about a fun event? Some example projects from the past include: the textbook reserve program, the bike share program, the sustainable garden, video game library in Sawyer, and a giant Winter Carnival Gala that turned Paresky into classy nightclub.

Once again, please submit your 200 word proposal to [email protected] by Sunday, November 28.

In other news, this past month, Council moved forward on a bunch of items:

Transfer orientation
Student art
Bike share program
Community ideals project
Feedback about late night at Whitmans
Winter break service trip for international students
We are holding a joint meeting with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) this Wednesday

Don’t forget to get to Amherst this weekend to watch them stay at number 2!!
